Our proposal adopts an approach to integrate and reflect the site. It reveals the specific texture of the urban project (natural landscape and structure, old wooded countryside) whilst offering a continuous view of the empty spaces. Concerns regarding social diversity and functional diversity underpinned our project discussions. We sought to promote “living together” by encouraging exchanges between residents whilst retaining each person’s privacy, notably through the centre of the plot, the glass building entrances, the large sheltered terraces, etc. Our project aims to break free from the uniform and imposing impression of buildings with anonymous and repetitive facades whilst streamlining its construction. A bit like as if the building was a compact collection of individual houses where each house has its own identity.
