The aim is to make the most of the existing site, the views and the sunshine. The project is organised in a well-controlled manner towards the preserved buildings, forming a welcoming and protective ensemble. The vegetation of the roofs, as a reinforced thermic protection, offers a strong sustainable and integrated architecture. Through a compact and efficient two-level building, we provide pragmatic and ecological solutions, in harmony with nature. Nature extends onto the building's terraces, creating a real continuity between the interior and the outside. The building seeks to "envelop" the playgrounds: with one for the kindergarten on ground floor, and a second one entirely dedicated to the pupils of elementary classes on the upper level, children are surrounded by nature while being completely cut off from urban flows.
